New Family Friendly Destination at Former Big Splash Site! (Coastal PlayGrove)

Spanning 4.5 hectares in space, the former Big Splash site located at East Coast Park has been newly revamped as the Coastal PlayGrove. This family friendly destination with a whole host of play areas is the latest hotspot that you can enjoy for endless hours of outdoor activity and fun (for both kids and parents)! 😍 There is a large variety of food options to choose from such as the Food Splash (air-conditioned food court) *hint Big Splash* 😁, Old Town White Coffee, Burger King, and more!

1. Play Tower

The main highlight of the Coastal PlayGrove is the 16-metre high Play Tower - The tallest play feature in Singapore! It houses the Vertical Challenge, a vertical net play climbing area that includes hammocks, a hoop maze, disc swings and a zig-zag bridge.

To amp up your thrill-o-meter, try out the two tube slides (at heights of 7.3m and 11.9m) which you definitely will not want to miss with hours of fun! The best part? It's FREE!

Suitable age: Youths aged 13 years and above

Opening hours:

Vertical Challenge - Tuesdays to Sundays, 8am to 8pm

Slides - Open daily, 8am to 12pm and 4pm to 8pm

2. Water Play Area

Beat the heat and cool down at the water play area💦 Wade across the stream to the water jets for a splashing good time. BONUS: You can check out this area at night for the illuminated water jets!

Tuesdays to Sundays, 8am to 8pm

3. Nature Playgarden

Allow yourself to immerse in nature 🌿 at this educational play area built from natural materials like gravel, sand and wood. The different themed sections are perfect for kids to learn and experience the different habitats.

4. Outdoor Classroom by the Sea

Ever wondered how learning in an outdoor classroom is like? Get your creative juices flowing and doodle away on the large chalkboard at this space next to the Nature Playgarden! Share your stories with family and friends while enjoying nature! Fun Fact: This set up is NPark's first outdoor classroom by the sea!

5. Event Lawn

Bask in the sun ☀️ and enjoy outdoor activities with your family and friends at this 0.95 hectare open lawn. This multi-purpose space can also hold large-scale events with a maximum capacity of 5000 pax. However, do note that all events and venue bookings remain suspended until further notice.

6. Other Recreation and Restaurants

You can also find other recreational activities like Once Upon a Time by The Tiara Society and dining options like Food Splash (a multi-concept food outlet) which serves upmarket food options at affordable prices! There are both air-conditioned dining area as well as outdoor seating area.
