As Singapore extends COVID-19 curbs for another month due to the rising cases, there is no doubt that we all start to crave for some fresh air... 😰


This is the time to plan a cycling trip this weekend with your family or a friend and take a ride through the Eastern Coastal Loop (...not the East Coast Loop)! Travel through the coastal lines and heartlands of Eastern Singapore and immerse yourself in nature. Spanning a distance of 17.5km, start your journey from Pasir Ris Town Park and end it off at East Coast Park (🤤 where you can gulp down a refreshing cup of sugar cane drink at the East Coast Lagoon Food Village!)

Pasir Ris Town Park -> Tampines Eco Green -> Bedok Reservoir Park -> Bedok Food Centre

-> Bedok Jetty -> East Coast Park

After hopping on a bicycle, cycle along Sungei Tampines river (a popular fishing spot) and keep your eyes open to spot some cute otters 🦦 (if you're lucky!)

2. Tampines Eco Green

The Tampines Eco Green is home to 75 species of birds, 20 species of dragonflies, 35 species of butterflies 🦋 and 32 species of spiders. Experience and discover the biodiversity of wildlife around this 36.5-hectare ecological park. All those nature lovers and thrill-seekers will definitely enjoy the off-road riding experience here!


Not only that, remember to also slow down and enjoy your time to appreciate nature's work as delicate brightly coloured flowers lined up along the trail! 🌸



3. Bedok Reservoir Park

Enjoy the tranquility in the heartland of Bedok - a popular spot amongst joggers and cyclists for their evenings after work. In the daytime, look out for adrenaline junkies and water sports enthusiasts 🏄🏻 zoom through the reservoir!


4. Bedok Food Centre

Why not stop by Bedok Food Centre for lunch in the hot afternoon? Some of the must-try includes Ye Lai Xiang Cheng Tng, Hokkien Prawn Mee, Yang Epok Epok, and more!

5. Bedok Jetty (East Coast Park)

Bedok Jetty is one of Singapore's longest jetty with a walkway that stretches 300m out into the sea. Did you know that it was a former military jetty used regularly for military exercises and international humanitarian missions? ✈️


It is now a popular spot for anglers with a huge diversity of potential catches, making it a favourite among the local fishing community. On both sides, the beach stretches 15 km along East Coast Park, perfect white sandy spot for families to hang and chill. Cycling and walking paths are well-demarcated along the jetty, making it accessible for cyclists and joggers to enjoy the sunsets on the pier in the evening! 🌅
